Best Portland Wedding Florists
Flowers make everything better. They brighten a space, they elevate a venue, and they make people happy. Working with a talented florist is one of the easiest ways to personalize your wedding or elopement. Many venues and locations are already stunning, but adding unique floral designs can set your day apart from the rest. As a photographer, I LOVE big bouquets, dramatic floral arches, and unique floral backdrops. They are so inspiring and fun to photograph! Here are some of my favorite Portland florists, as well as some of my favorite Oregon florists across the state. I hope this helps you find the best Oregon florist for you!
Portland Florists
Chas of Wildflower Portland
Where is Wildflower Portland based? What areas do you service? Do you travel?
As a native Oregonian, I love traveling through the Pacific Northwest to service my couples!
How would you describe your style?
Thoughtful, textural and custom are words I hope describe my style.
What makes Wildflower Portland unique?
Me! I approach each opportunity to be a couple’s wedding florist as a responsibility to share their unique love story through flowers; because no two couples are alike, neither are any two of my weddings.
What do you love most about your job as a floral designer?
Working with flowers isn’t a job for me, it’s a joy and my creative outlet! On my “days off” I fill my time with gardening, hikes in nature and adding to my inventory for the next big event! “Find something you love doing and you’ll never work a day in your life,” couldn’t be more true for me.
What type of weddings and couples are the best fit for your business?
The couples who bring me the most joy are the ones who trust me to bring their vision to life. When a couple comes to me and says, “You’re the professional, we trust you,” it makes me want to go above and beyond for them.
What advice do you have for couples searching for a wedding florist?
Book early and do find that perfect fit- personally and professionally, for you. Remember that on your wedding day you want to be surrounded by people (vendors) you thoroughly enjoy, not just someone who happened to be available and in your price range.
Anything else you’d like to add?
I’m a firm believer that beauty doesn’t have to break the bank! One of the most fulfilling aspects of my job as a designer is supporting my couples and helping them dream up creative ways to save money.
Whats the best way for people to contact you?
I love it when couples follow me on Instagram to get a sense of my work and then follow up with a submission through my website at www.wildflowerportland.com

I am based out of Oregon City, OR and I predominantly work in Oregon and Washington.
How would you describe your style?
My style is modern romantic garden.
What makes Jodi Iverson Floral unique?
I think my business is unique because I try to mix modern elements with classic design where your wedding flowers can be timeless yet current.
What do you love most about your job as a floral designer?
What I love most about my job is connecting with clients, vendors and of course being able to work with gorgeous works of nature.
What type of weddings and couples are the best fit for your business?
The best weddings for me would be doing florals in my favorite style which is modern romantic garden. My ideal couples would be ones who recognize my predominant style and would like that incorporated into their wedding day.
What advice do you have for couples searching for a wedding florist?
When couples are looking for a florist there are a few key elements to look for.
- Check out the florists portfolio/ Instagram and reviews. Are the photos of their actual work or are they stock photos?
- Does the florist have the design style you are looking for?
- Be aware that there is a range of pricing for flowers and be open to flower suggestions that will best fit your budget.
Anything else you’d like to add?
My love for flowers started at the age of five. Working the family floral business led me to open my own wedding business. I am living my best life and I am doing exactly what has always made me the happiest.

Solabee Flowers and Botanicals
Where is Solabee based? What areas do you service? Do you travel?
We are a flower studio and plant shop based in Portland. We’ve designed and created many weddings in the Portland metro area, as well as all the way down the gorge to the Mt, Hood area, and into wine country. Currently, we are happy to deliver within a 55 mile range of Portland.
How would you describe your style?
We source floral from the best regional growers and allow the seasons to help guide our designs. We try to bring a touch of wild, authentic beauty to every event. While our couples choose from an established menu of everything you could need for a full wedding, every single event is still unique to the couple. We don’t use a formula or cookie cutter process for our arrangements, but let the direction and energy of the couple combine with the best of Mother Nature to lead our creative processes. That in combination with our accessible and transparent pricing structure marries the best of studio design quality floral with a more practical and straightforward service experience.
What makes Solabee unique?
Solabee has over thirteen years of experience in wedding and floral design, and is connected to the best PNW growers through long standing relationships. We bring that sense of style and beautiful product to our couples through a really easy and simplified process. Our pricing is upfront and there is no minimum order amount. By offering a streamlined way to select and customize each event, we have found the sweet spot that can make planning the floral elements from Solabee one of the easiest parts of planning that special day.
What do you love most about your job as a floral designer?
That we can see the seasons change through flowers. For example, we often get the first glimpse of spring as the long winter starts to dwindle as tulips, daffodils and blooming branches come into the shop. We also take a ton of joy in the happiness of our clients, bringing a bride to tears when she first sees her bridal bouquet is our goal.
What type of weddings and couples are the best fit for your business?
Our perfect fit are couples that have a deep appreciation for the innate beauty we see in the natural world every day.
What advice do you have for couples searching for a wedding florist?
Find a florist that matches your aesthetic vibe, and trust them with it! It is very similar to how you should choose your photographer: did their images make your heart skip a beat? Did they capture that moody feel or the bright fun vibe you want? It is very similar with flowers, whether it be a more loose, natural feeling, a more experimental vibe, or the classical structure, find the florist that emulates that. Once you find your match, trust them with it…best work comes when you provide room for creative freedom!

Robyn of Songbird Floristry
Where is Songbird Floristry based? What areas do you service? Do you travel?
We’re based in Sherwood, Oregon and generally serve Woodland to Salem / Cannon Beach to Mount Hood. We are willing to travel when circumstances permit.
How would you describe your style?
Farm to vase. We are a 3 acre flower farm and love working with unique and hard-to-ship flowers that we grow here at the farm.
What makes Songbird Floristry unique?
Our pre-booking flow is a little different. We start with an online planning tool that introduces prospective clients to our basic offerings with prices listed. Then, we meet for consultation to talk through vision and custom options. We also manage booking through the same online tool, so everything is in one place.
What do you love most about your job as a floral designer?
Variety! I love working with my hands to grow flowers and create designs, I have so much fun meeting couples and working through the planning process, and I also really enjoy running a small business.
What type of weddings and couples are the best fit for your business?
Part of the excitement of working in the wedding industry is the opportunity to meet and work with a really wide variety of people, clients, and vendors. I do find that clients who offer us some creative leeway or who approach our floral consultation open to talking through options generate a really fun buzz that carries through the planning through the big day.
What advice do you have for couples searching for a wedding florist?
Let’s dream together! Try not to let Pinterest inspiration limit your vision. We specialize in farm-to-vase design using beautiful, Oregon-grown blooms to fullest extent possible. We love growing flowers that are unique and/or difficult to ship, so there’s a good chance that we’ll include flowers in your designs that you may not have heard of before. We love to talk about flowers and can talk through what will likely be coming in from the field during consultation. Then, you can put worry aside and leave it to us to select the most beautiful blooms and foliage the week of your wedding.
Anything else you’d like to add?
I’d love to add another floral designer to our team as we continue growing. It’s been a tough year to make connections with prospective new team members. If you or someone you know is interested in working as a floral designer, we’re looking! Open to speaking with individuals at all experience levels. Must LOVE weddings 😊
Whats the best way for people to contact you?
Through our planning tool. Then click “request consultation” at the end of the tool, or email [email protected]

Alli of Bramble Floral
Where is Bramble Floral based? What areas do you service? Do you travel?
I’m based in the Portland Metro area and regularly do weddings in Hood River/the Gorge, the Oregon coast, Mt Hood, Bend area, and everything in between!
I only travel (ie out of the PNW, or somewhere that requires flying) for family weddings. To me, the best vendor is the one who knows the area best - Oregon and the PNW is my home. I’m familiar with the weather, the plants and flowers, and the backroads. I also am familiar enough with what is growing around me that I know what is safe and sustainable to forage. I’m also able to compost the materials after the wedding because I’m not only here temporarily. I feel like the best way to serve my clients and give them the best possible flowers is to be local.
How would you describe your style?
As an artist and gardener, I see what’s unique in my clients and in my materials… I love a look that is unique to each client, but I also am true to how I see beauty in the world around me. I love textures and details. I love to bring in a sort of effortless feel with natural shapes and tones. I also want to always be pushing my limits and pushing the craft - keeping it fresh and design forward. If none of that makes any sense, I think the keywords we’ve used for years that seem to resonate with folks are “wild, natural, elegant”!
What makes Bramble unique?
We are thorough and professional and strongly believe in quality over quantity. I don’t over book myself so that we can keep our standards high. We have a small crew and are very hands on. I hate to turn anyone down, but I believe finding the right fit between client and floral designer is really important! That’s why we don’t focus on volume, shoots, or trends. I know my weirdness is the right fit for someone else’s weirdness, you know? We care about the environment, the outdoors, Portland, and doing something… a little different. We aren’t the coolest floral studio, but we are here for whatever weird and wonderful idea you have!
What do you love most about your job as a floral designer?
It’s the perfect mix of what I love: creative, project based, people oriented, and ever changing/challenging. I love design/dream phase in the winter, and action/hands on work in the summer! It fits my need for variation and rhythm. Also, as an artist I have sort of a compulsion to make things with my hands… to make things I see in my mind. And there are few spaces where artists can regularly be commissioned to create big crazy things! Weddings are such a great opportunity.
Especially over these last few years where human interaction has been limited, I’ve remembered how much I love meeting new people and having powerful connections with strangers! Weddings are absolutely fantastic for that.
What type of weddings and couples are the best fit for your business?
People who love good design and love flowers, whether they know exactly what they want or not! I work both with folks who have a strong aesthetic and dream, and people who don’t plant to make a pinterest board or choose their own colors. Also, anyone who is happy to be a little more hands off, or who doesn’t want to make a lot of specific decisions is a great fit. I love having wiggle room to take a few ideas and come up with something rad!
What advice do you have for couples searching for a wedding florist?
Look closely at their portfolio - tags on instagram, website, etc… make sure you like their style because that’s going to be the best situation. And check those sources to make sure they do the kind of work you are looking for. What do their receptions and installations look like? Boutonnieres, bridal bouquets… whatever details light you up, make sure they’re doing things like that. Not all work is equal. If it looks a long way from what you are dreaming of, it’s likely they can’t do it.
Also, go with vendor recommendations! Ask around. See who your planner thinks is a good fit… communication style, work ethic, and personality are things that you sometimes can’t pick up online.
Anything else you’d like to add?
I’m a talker: I LOVE to chat and small talk and hear about your day and all your wedding details…. so sometimes my meetings go long. haha! I try to be respectful of people’s precious time, but I also want you to get comfortable and get talking so I can get to know you. It’s a struggle
Even if you don’t hear right back, I’m here: Sometimes life is hard and I don’t get back to emails right away. But I am here and I am thinking about your wedding. And I’m always available when it counts. We are professional and thorough and I’ve got a team that also cares about Bramble and each wedding, so you are always in good hands.
We put our money where our mouth is: Part of our profits each year go to non profits that relate to our passions. Mostly often that means supporting the environment and justice. The past year it was The Nature Conservancy and the ACLU, but if you have any that are dear to your heart, please let me know and we would love to donate to what you are also passionate about!
Whats the best way for people to contact you?
Through my website contact page! That will guarantee you the fastest response (even though I’m not a same day replier, sorry) and puts you straight in to my software!
Best Hood River Florists
Blaire from Trellis Fresh Flowers
Where is Trellis based? What areas do you service? Do you travel?
We are based in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. We serve the entire Pacific Northwest from Walla all the way to the Coast.
How would you describe your style?
Our style is multifaceted. We specialize in boho but love the romance of a whimsical hand-tied bouquet as well.
What makes Trellis Fresh Flowers unique?
We are unique as a florist because we come at the design process from a different perspective. How can we save our couples the most money, while working with what is local, what is renewable, and sustainable? How can we re-purpose and re-use? This means we can stay in business for not just for 5 years, but many more years down the road.
What do you love most about your job as a floral designer?
THE COUPLES!!!! I love my couples! I love their enthusiasm, their newness, their hopes and their passion!
What type of weddings and couples are the best fit for your business?
The best wedding or couple that fits for me is anyone wanting to get married. I love a challenge and I love seeing all my various couples’ vision come to life. No matter how unique it may be from the mundane.
What advice do you have for couples searching for a wedding florist?
Connection Connection Connection! Choose your florist based on the connection and rapport you have because you never know how long you will be working with them. Case in point - I have brides I have been working with for over 3 years due to Covid postponements. That’s a mighty fun relationship, and if we didn’t have connection, where would we be?
Anything else you’d like to add?
Remember this is your day! Don’t do what’s trendy or what your great Aunt Ruth wants do what you want! It’s your day and its about the LOVE the both of you share that’s making it all possible.

Email is the first step [email protected]
