Leah and Andrew | Junction City Wedding Photography
“I knew Andrew was right for Leah while I was living with her in the Tri Delta Sorority house,” said Ashley, Leah’s maid of honor, during toasts. She had a crisis one day. Her hair straightener died. Leah was sad. If you are a girl, you understand. But it’s not something your average guy would pick up on over a long distance casual evening phone call. And yet two days later a brand new hair straightener magically arrived at the sorority house. “That’s when I knew this guy was awesome,” said Ashley. “He bought her a new one and had it shipped right away. What kind of guy does that?” The kind that is caring, sweet and attentive to detail. And madly in love with Leah. When he proposed he set up a giant scavenger hunt all over Corvallis, ending with him surprising Leah with all her family and friends there to watch. Because that’s what you do when you love someone that much. You surprise them. You get creative. And then you get married. Leah and Andrew tied the knot a little over a month ago at Dancing Deer Mountain near Junction City, Oregon. Leah did her hair and makeup with her bridesmaids beforehand at the Monroe Avenue Salon in Corvallis. When they eventually arrived at the venue, it was gorgeously decorated in blue, green, purple and mossy accents by event coordinator Andrea Friesen of Cinta Events. My fabulous friend Nina Lee did the flowers, boutonnieres and corsages
Such a sweet little detail – Leah’s dad passed away, but she kept him close to her on her wedding day by sewing a patch from one of his old work shirts into her dress
Congratulations Leah and Andrew! I had a fabulous time working with you, your families and your friends! I wish you both the best!
