Sandra and Suzanne | New Zealand Portrait Photography
It’s already July and I still haven’t finished my New Zealand photos. I know, I know, I’m a terrible person. But hopefully this little post will tide you over until I publish Part II of the most epic trip I’ve ever taken. Anyway, this was a photoshoot I did in the tiny little town of Franz Joseph on the South Island with two beautiful Dutch girls I met at my hostel. After hanging out, hiking, swimming and chatting with them the entire day, I worked up the nerve to ask them if they wanted to do a little shoot with the rainforest/mountains/glaciers/fields in the background. They said yes, and I was ecstatic. Thus commenced a few hours of wandering in the glowing New Zealand evening light, getting bitten by bugs, tramping through fields and rocks and trying not to get hit by cars on a one-lane bridge. Essentially doing what I love most in the world – photographing beautiful strangers in a beautiful place. Happiness
