Samone and Richard | Central Oregon Wedding Photography
Samone went to the same elementary, middle and high school as me growing up, but I never knew her because she was a grade above me. However, I knew OF her. Her reputation as an athlete preceded her everywhere she went. Her name is almost synonymous with running. Samone the runner. That’s her. Whie in college, Samone studied abroad for a year at Oxford in England and met a wonderful British man named Richard there. Richard is quite possibly one of the only people on this planet who loves running just as much as Samone does. He was on the Oxford University Cross Country Club. He wore the OUCCC Blazer at their wedding. Together they ran a 5k around the lake in the 30 degree weather just a few hours before they got married. These two are dedicated. Hard-workers. Strong-willed. Passionate. And so totally in love with one another. It might have been an insanely cold, windy, stormy day, but none of that mattered in the end. The Lodge at Suttle Lake was cozy and perfect. Samone’s mother and grandmother made all the flower arrangements themselves, while Samone’s dad provided three types of home-brewed beer for guests to enjoy the night before. The weekend was personable, emotional and beautiful in such a raw and wonderful way. I am so lucky that I got to be the one to document it! Congratulations you two
