Alex and Ben | Mexico Destination Wedding
All of the love. All of the emotions. All of the tequila. Alex and Ben got married on Cinco de Mayo at the Riu Palace Peninsula in Cancun, Mexico. They had almost 100 South American family members there, rowdy friends from high school, college, and grad school, plus more family and friends from Texas and Teach for America. There was unlimited food and booze. Alcohol dispensers in the rooms that were topped off every day. A light up dance-floor. Fire dancers. Fireworks. A surprise choreographed evolution-of-dance first dance. More than one person being thrown in a pool with all their clothes on. Drunken party-boat rides in the bay as the sun set. Tons of rain. Tons of sun. Tons of shots. A surprise scrapbook that Ben made for Alex that made everyone cry. Beautiful vows that had me fighting through my own tears to continue taking photos. It was unbelievable and crazy and perfect. No one who attending this wedding will ever forget it. I know I won’t. To see my friend Alex so perfectly matched with a man who wept tears of joy as she walked down the aisle toward him? To get to be a part of this story? Priceless. I am so incredibly thankful that I got to be the person to document this day and this adventure. I could go on and on and on, but I’ll stop and let you see for yourself. Enjoy
