Dawn and Thomas | Painted Hills Engagement Photos

It was like doing a photoshoot on another planet. Dawn and Thomas met up with my boyfriend and I at the Painted Hills last weekend, and man we had a good time. It was their 3-year anniversary that day, and somehow, some way, the weather was absolutely perfect – no snow, not that cold, and incredible light falling on the red hills. We couldn’t be happier. It was the first time I had met Dawn, but I’ve followed her photography work for awhile on Instagram and Facebook. I already knew she was gorgeous, but she’s even more radiant in person – bubbly, sweet, friendly and funny too. Mikael and I were especially lucky because Dawn also took some photos of us that day, so we got to be on the other side of the camera for a little while as well! It was the perfect mix of photography, adventuring and love – my most favorite kind of day.
