Lake Oswego Couples Photos at George Rogers Park

Spring has arrived in Portland! I was so excited to photograph Kylie and Daniel at George Rogers Park in Lake Oswego a few weeks ago and take advantage of the gorgeous blossoms all over the city! The camera loved these two! They have a remarkable story too. Kylie tells it best! “We’ve been together for five years, and will be married for three years come April. We met while I was working in the Dominican Republic. He and I both worked for the same humanitarian aid organization there that provided health care, food assistance, education, women’s empowerment, and economic development programs. We had our son in the DR and got married there and then decided (for economic reasons) to apply for his visa and move to the US, and have been here for a little over two years now. We’ve also been fostering two boys (6 and 12) for the past five months— which has been crazy!” I love that these two met internationally while helping to save the world together! With their kiddos they don’t get that much alone time, so it was awesome to take some Portland couples photos of them and really celebrate their love and how far it’s taken then together
