McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse Wedding at the Octagonal Barn

Samantha and Kevin had a gorgeous McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse wedding at the Octagonal Barn! It is SUCH a fun and unique Portland wedding venue! As with all McMenamins wedding venues, the property has gorgeous gardens and is totally quirky! Samantha and Kevin made their McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse wedding unique by doing the McMenamins’ passport and finishing it on their wedding day! For those of you who don’t know what that is, McMenamins has an actual “passport” you can get stamped at every single McMenamin’s location in Oregon and Washington! Samantha and Kevin went to every single historic McMenamins before their wedding. Then they completed their passports with a final stamp at The Little White Shed at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. Such a cool idea!

The Proposal

Another unique thing about these two – Kevin proposed to Samantha with a custom-designed bottle of her favorite beer! He got their friend Christa to illustrate him down on one knee on a Deschutes beer bottle. Every single part of the label was personalized to them! Christa designed it with such expertise that it looks EXACTLY like a regular Deschutes beer label until you get closer and actually read what it says! They had the bottle on display at their wedding, as well as cute beer cozys that said “Wade in Oregon,” a pun on their last name.

What they love most about each other

Both Samantha and Kevin said they love how comfortable they feel with each other and how compatible they are together. Samantha appreciates feeling at home wherever she is with Kevin. She feels like no matter what, he’s always there for her. Kevin says he loves having someone who gets him. They both feel like they know what the other one is thinking or feeling about 98% of the time!

It all came together perfectly, thanks to this amazing team!
