Lake Oswego Backyard Wedding
I believe in empowering couples to be MORE themselves. This wedding was a beautiful example of that. Matt and Emily planned an intimate backyard wedding in their home in Lake Oswego. They had about 20 guests, and the entire day was SO laid back.
Emily and Matt bought flowers from the farmer’s market in the morning and got ready together in the early afternoon as friends and family helped set up. They welcomed guests with homemade cocktails, charcuterie, and sushi. They laid out photo albums and put 4x6 prints on their wall, reveling in happy memories of Emily’s late father and past adventures.
After a few hours of mingling, everyone hiked 15 minutes through the forest to Matt’s parent’s house. They said their vows under a beautiful tree, took group portraits and then walked back! It was simple, elegant, and fun.
Afterward, everyone celebrated with champagne toasts, a song by one of their friends, and pizza! It was casual and heartfelt. But most importantly, it was extremely THEM.
Matt and Emily, thank you for trusting me with your beautiful day. I loved spending time with you and your friends!
